The PDX AI Hackathon winners were announced yesterday, officially ending the 2025 Hackathon competition.
But..wait…what is an AI Hackathon?
A group of volunteers (competitors) across the Publicis Groupe separated into 12 teams, each tasked with coming up with an AI app that would be generally beneficial to agency life or for agency clients. Each team would then pitch their ideas and prototype to a panel of judges.

- Innovation and Use of GenAI
- Presentation & Storytelling
Our team didn’t win, but it was a great experience. The competition pushed each team to come up with ideas and investigate AI capabilities within each concept. It required Publicis employees, who have never met, to work collaboratively, delegate tasks, and own responsibilities that may simply be different than their normal day-to-day jobs.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with my team, and putting together a slide deck of CampaignIQ, a marketing campaign analyzer, designed to support, simplify, and save time when putting together a post-campaign analysis or summary.
