Disney Rewards launched their website redesign on Wednesday. The new website features a broader color palette, and enticing design elements giving the site a modern, exciting feel. The design, originating with the agency Horizonal, was fine-tuned by the Razorfish creative team consisting of Alex Pierce, Jaylynn Canales, and Hayle Birlew.

Development lived with Razorfish from the beginning, however, and provided the website with a reworked front-end, scalable modules, and upgraded backend structure.

Razorfish’s development team consisted of:

  • Nathaniel Hoyt – Lead Front-end developer
  • Evan Borden – Lead Backend developer
  • Jeff Tidwell – Front-end developer
  • Eric Tallman – Front-end developer
  • Chris Lopez – Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
  • Makenna Janower – Content, HTML

“It was a challenge and joy to own and rework the redesigned website.”, Nathaniel Hoyt stated, “I looked for different ways to reduce, streamline and present scalable solutions for how content is inputed and displayed on the site. “

The Redesign was front-end focused. Some notable updates included more accessible CSS, reduced JS libraries, new JS classes, re-useable PHP modules, and more flexible CMS/content components.
